Carry Kelsey’s Spirit Across the World
This rock is part of a memorial project honoring Kelsey.
Friends and family placed these rocks around the world in places she would have loved.
If you found one, we invite you to learn about Kelsey and help continue her journey.
Welcome! Thank you for being here.
This space was created to honor and remember Kelsey, a daughter, sister, friend, registered nurse, and devoted dog mom to Kaena, Kita, and Ben. Kelsey passed away on November 29, 2025, at the age of 35 after a courageous battle with cervical cancer. She was born on April 19, 1990, and grew up in Orrville, Ohio, where her vibrant spirit first began to shine.
Kelsey lived a life full of movement, compassion, and adventure. From her days as a high school cheerleader to her early work as a daycare teacher, she was always someone who cared deeply for others. That passion led her to become a registered nurse, and in 2019 she began a travel nursing career that allowed her to combine her love of helping people with her desire to explore the world.
Starting in Maine and eventually making her home in Denver, Colorado, Kelsey built a life she truly loved, one filled with meaningful work, lifelong friendships, and unforgettable experiences. She later became a Director of Nursing, a role that reflected both her leadership and her heart.
Outside of work, Kelsey found joy in the simple and beautiful moments. She loved fly fishing, camping, hiking, thrifting, listening to music, and traveling the Caribbean with her family. Her sister Paige was her best friend, and their time together, whether on “sister trips” or relaxing at home, meant everything to her.
If you have found your way here because you discovered a painted rock, please know that it was left in a place Kelsey would have loved. These rocks are a small way of sharing her spirit with the world. We invite you to take it with you, carry it to a new beautiful place, and leave it behind for someone else to find, continuing a journey that reflects Kelsey’s love for exploration, connection, and kindness.
Our hope is that through this website, you will come to know a little piece of who Kelsey was and the joy she brought into so many lives. If you feel moved, we also encourage you to support cervical cancer awareness and research through the National Cervical Cancer Coalition.
Thank you for helping us keep Kelsey’s memory alive.
